Food Star Family Restaurant is the ideal place for a relaxing and enjoyable meal with friends or family.

Whether for a couple, large family or a function of up to 400 peole, Food Star can readily cater for any occasion such as family get togethers, birthday parties, community parties and groups.

The renovated premises are sparkling clean with a bright and friendly atmosphere and the popular restaurant is under the new management by Mr. Ben Chen who has many years of experience in the food industry in Asia.

Ben serves up fresh, tasty food daily from a varied menu of 80 different dishes to the many happy Food Star customers.

Diners can select from seafood, soup, carvery, Asian food, pasta vegetables fruit and a salad bar for the ‘all-you-can-eat’ concept.

A large variety of hot dishes and sweets are also part of the comprehensive selection with free tea and coffee to finish.  A bar service is available at bar prices with soft drinks very low at $7.50 for a jug.

"My husband and I go to Food Star for lunch every Thursday and we love it. The seniors rate is remarkably low when you consider the variety of food available and the fact it is an all-you-can-eat buffet. We always find the staff very friendly and helpful. My husband particularly enjoys the classical music they play in the background. Overall, we would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a lovely meal at a very reasonable price. "

"My daughter turned 21 last week and we decided to celebrate her birthday at Food Star. We had quite a large booking but the lovely staff had no trouble accommodating our group. They even allowed us to decorate the tables with balloons and streamers. The food was delicious and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals, especially the desserts. The pavlova alone is worth the visit. The best part of the night was not having to clean up after ourselves. A fantastic, stress-free night. Highly recommended. "

"Very happy with the quality of the food and service. Will visit again. My friend and I usually catch up at Food Star each fortnight with our young children. It's a very inexpensive outing considering all our children are aged under 3 and eat free. It's a very nice place to go for a meal and a chat. Not too loud and we can eat at our own pace.
